尾田荣一郎亲自宣布Netflix续订漫改真人剧《海贼王》第二季，并在官宣视频中明示乔巴会在第二季中登场。 执行制片人、制片工作室Tomorrow Studios的Becky Clements透露，一旦美国编剧、演员工会罢工结束，第二季或许在12个月到18个月后就能准备好上线。本剧可能至少持续6季，各方已就潜在的第二季做了深入探讨，对第三到第六季的方向进行了没那么深入的探讨。
